Wolfgang Ritter, Gyso Hilger and Steffen Stütz played together in several bands and studio sessions since 1995. Together they were involved in productions such as "Tobsucht" at the end of the 90s and the project "Nekta", whose music can not only be found in the largest electro swing playlists, but has also been used in some well-known American TV series ( "Gossip Girl", "Las Vegas"). With their new EP "Driptychon" the three musicians show their love for 80s music, analog synthesizers and jazz
The band can use a wide range of electronic sound generators, that covers the majority of the most legendary synthesizers since 1970. Now and then, a vocoder had been used, which brings some pop appeal into the music. Nevertheless the musicians do not belong to a single certain genre of music, so different elements such as electronic and jazz take place in the arrangements.
Tilman Bruno appears as a guest percussionist on the EP. He was a friend and colleague for over twenty-five years and died by accident in summer 2018. These recordings may be among the last ones he did.
